be on a forever trail of findings which lead to twists, turns and new horizons! I planned to write something more about my thoughts about the movie Apacalypto last Saturday. Ha! and just as I thought that I'd be able to polish, wrap and submit yesterday-I was caught up in the HBO Movie: Bury "My Heart at Wounded Knee". That did it for me.

Today I just had to study, seek and compare the Northern Indegenous peoples to those of the South; and to those of Mexico.

Fascinating!

Maybe I'll get my thoughts in readabel form soon...

Unveiling truth is a messy task. Telling and diagnosing the findings in varous cultures [including American] is even worse-it really challenges [or-ticks off most] people-especially if they have something within them that is familiar with the disgusting deed exposed. Many do not know what to do with the challenge, and hope that they never have to find out.-Soni

Look at it another way, learn from the past mistakes. The actual deed and the lead up to it. The thought that all I have been through has lead me to this place in life has been a great comfort. While I feel badly about some events, I realize we all have to learn and the shame nags us to do so. A pet peeve is this "zero tolerance" idea. I lean toward that with pedophilia and other horrible things but more because of repeat behavior rather than the learning and forgiveness thing. Also, there are some really gross deeds out there and mine by comparison seem trivial, not to be ignored but not obsessed over.
